Another beautiful day and a great afternoon for soccer on the beach, followed by a swim in the cool, clear ocean that Byron Bay is known for! Here’s a few photos from the soccer match… 🙂
And the winners were very happy with their beers!

This afternoon we enjoyed the lovely, sunny weather out in the garden with a friendly game of volleyball.
Fourteen students joined in the match at different times, playing over two 12-minute halves.
The competition was tough with the scores even for almost the whole game, making it a great game to watch for the many spectators on the sidelines!
At full time, the scores were tied 36-36! An extra point was played, with the team who wins that point wins the game. The players on both sides were determined , but at the end of the day there can only be one winning team. Congratulations to Natsumi, Inola, Floriant, Abel, Marco and Estelle! Enjoy the well deserved beer! 🙂
To celebrate the end of the current course book, we enjoyed a BBQ in the garden this afternoon. After a few early concerns about fire safety…
…Paul got the BBQ under control and cooked up some sausages for the students to enjoy.
Everyone enjoyed the BBQ, a bit of soccer and just hanging out with good friends.
What a great way to spend a lazy Friday afternoon in Byron Bay!
