Today we held the Table Tennis Tournament to find this month’s Lexis Champion!
We held two sessions, to allow both morning and afternoon students to be involved, so ended up with two champions for this month.
In the morning Roman held onto his title from last month…
…and in the afternoon Danny claimed the title!
The tournament could be renamed the Battle for the Beer, as that is the main motivating factor to win!

Today we held two Table Tennis Tournaments – one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
The morning tournament was won by defending morning Champion, Othman! He had some good competition but came through to win the TimTams!!
The afternoon tournament had a lot of close matches with some excellent, long rallies. Special mention about the match between Lear and Charlotte, who have played against each other 27 times in the last couple of days and had some epic rallies!
There were a couple of players defending or trying to reclaim their titles from previous months. In the end, Roman was the winner, defending his title from the last tournament!

Today we had planned to play volleyball but, unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and it was not a pleasant day to head to the beach. Instead, we held a Table Tennis Tournament!
With the last tournament being held just last week, the players were highly motivated to defend or claim the title of Lexis Champion! Today’s winner was Roman, who has a strong background in tennis (as a tennis instructor back in Spain!) and won the 6-pack of beer to enjoy.

The competition was tough at the Table Tennis Tournament today!
There were some great players and close matches to be watched, such as Shin vs Maito, Roman vs Saki. However, the grand final was between Shin and Roman. Both have excellent Table Tennis skills and played very well, but in the end, Shin won the title and the beer!

Today we held a Table Tennis Tournament to see who is the new Lexis Champion!
The games in the morning were very friendly between Othman, Priscilla, Yuri and Miki. The afternoon matches were a little more competitive, featuring the ‘All-Stars’ of the Lexis Table Tennis Champions including Richard, Saki and Shinsuke, who have all won this tournament at different times in the past!
Today’s winner and the new Lexis Champion was… Saki!! Well done, Saki!

This afternoon we held a tournament to discover the new Table Tennis Champion of Lexis Byron Bay!
With twelve students signing up for the challenge, there were players of all levels playing for the championship.
There were very close matches and great, long rallies throughout the competition.
In the end, Rafa was the champion, winning himself bragging rights and a 6-pack of beer, which he generously shared with the other students!

There was some tough competition at the Table Tennis Tournament this afternoon! Some players had been members of Table Tennis clubs back in their home countries, so the standard of play was very high.
After many points and some great rallies, the overall winner was Saki, who just managed to get the upper hand on Shin. Well done Saki!

This afternoon we had a Table Tennis Tournament at Lexis Byron Bay!
Everyone enjoyed the friendly competition and the games were very close! Donovan was the winner in the end – defending his title from the last tournament – and the beer was happily shared between all the competitors. 🙂

Today we had 8 competitors in the Table Tennis Tournament – Floriant, Shin, Ryoma, Mac, Lucas, Simone, Donovan and Thomas. They were all very skilled players and after playing two rounds the Grand Final was between Donovan and Mac.
Congratulations to Donovan who came away the winner after a tough final match!
Everyone was a winner today, with Donovan sharing the beers round and the ping pong continuing well after the competition was over. 🙂

We had one of our famous Lexis Table Tennis Tournaments this afternoon!
As always the players were very competitive… Angela surprised everyone with her fantastic skills and gave Raphael a run for his money! It was a close match, but Rapha won and made it to the final with Lucas.
There was a lot of tension during the final match but eventually Raphael was victorious yet again! At least this time we divided up the prizes, so Angela, Lucas and Raphael were all prize winners 🙂

Tom and Danny battle it out in the final
Yesterday afternoon 16 students gathered in the garden to battle it out for the coveted title of reigning Lexis Ping Pong Champion.
Aurelie, Bryan, Quentin, Lucas, Tom, Danny, Till, Urs, Simon, Elia, Lulu, Junya, Renato, Chris and Danilo all signed to up try and steal the title away from reigning champion Hung.
The crowd was shocked when Hung was beaten in the first round by Tom. However, Tom eventually went on to beat Till, Lucas and Danny to become the new champion. Well done Tom.
