Claudia says her positive attitude and outgoing personality, as well as her thoughtfulness to others, has made her an absolute pleasure to teach. Hikaru, from Japan, graduates from Kristy’s Intermediate class. It has been lovely getting to know him over the past 2 weeks; he is very eager to learn and immerse himself in the Australian lifestyle! We are glad this isn’t goodbye as Hikarua will start our Cambridge course next week!

Lucas, from Switzerland, graduates from Claudia’s IELTS class. He has been a diligent, conscientious and hard-working student. His foundation of the English language is very good and he graduates at a high Upper Intermediate level, with an Advanced level in both his listening and reading. Best wishes for the future Lucas!

Tomas, from Spain, graduates from Mel’s Intermediate class. He made progress in all areas of his English during his time at Lexis. Mel says he was a pleasure to teach and he’ll be missed in class next week. We hope you enjoyed your time in Byron Tomas and wish you well for the future!

Yonghyun, from Korea, graduates from Michelle’s Pre-Intermediate class. His speaking and listening have improved dramatically during his time at Lexis. His writing has also improved and it’s been wonderful to see him grow more confident with speaking. Michelle says his questions, communication skills and contributions were great for the whole class. They will all miss his humour and light heartedness next week!

Thomas, from Switzerland, graduates from Adrienne’s Pre-Intermediate class. Adrienne loved his enthusiasm to learn and how well he worked with all of his classmates. He has been with us since March and I loved him being a regular at many of our out of class activities. He always made an effort to make new students feel welcome and made many friends with students from all over the world. He will be very much missed, but we’re hopeful we’ll see him again one day!

Yuko, from Japan, graduates from Michelle’s Pre-Intermediate class. It has been wonderful to watch her confidence grow over the past 5 weeks. She has improved in all areas of her English and her understanding of grammar and use of vocabulary has been excellent. She has a beautiful personality and worked well with all her peers. Michele, from Switzerland, graduates from Michelle’s Pre-Intermediate class. She has been a lovely happy student with a great attitude. Teacher Michelle says she asked a lot of excellent questions and she was an asset to the class. Her hard work and productive participation in class has led to her improving dramatically in all areas and graduating with an A! Well done Michele, we are sure you will go on to do great things!

Oscar, from Spain, graduates from Mel’s Intermediate class. Mel says the whole class enjoyed his jokes and good humour. He is a friendly student and great at making conversation, making him lots of friends here at Lexis! We are glad this isn’t goodbye as Oscar will return to us in December to start the Cambridge course!

Victor (Vitezslav), from the Czech Republic, graduates from Kristy’s Intermediate class. He is a very lovely and polite student who we have really enjoyed having at Lexis! It has been wonderful to watch his English and confidence grow and grow. We wish you the very best for the future Victor!

She has made lots of friends in her short time here, who will all miss her jokes and sense of humour! She worked hard in class and this paid off with her graduating with a grade A! Shiho, from Japan, graduates from Mel’s Intermediate class. It has been an absolute joy having her here at Lexis. She has a lovely personality and has made lots of friends during her 16 weeks here. Congratulations and farewell to our six students graduating from Lexis Byron Bay today!

Patrick

Patrick, from Switzerland, graduates from Paul’s Pre-Intermediate class having progressed to this level from Elementary. Even though Patrick was only with us for a few weeks, he made huge progress in his English abilities and always enjoyed joining in with class discussions and activities. We wish Patrick happy travels and the best of luck for the future.

Koki, from Japan, graduates from Paul’s Pre-Intermediate class. Although he was only at Lexis for 4 weeks, Koki’s speaking has really improved and he’s all set to continue on his working holiday adventure. His teachers commented that he was always keen to volunteer in class and should have no problems travelling and finding work.

Theo, from Reunion Island, graduates from Paul’s Pre-Intermediate class. Theo has been on our TAP English and Surfing Program for the past four weeks, so has been having surf lessons as well as English. We’ve really enjoyed having both Sacha and Theo in the school as they have been such polite and keen students and passionate surfers. Theo’s teachers praised his English level achieved and his participation in class.

Sacha, also from Reunion Island and travelling with Theo, graduates from Mel’s Intermediate class. His teachers Mel and Julia commented on what a pleasure it was to have him and how much they’ve enjoyed his jokes and good humour. Even though only 16 Sacha connected and participated well with his classmates and was great at giving his opinion and discussing topics in class.

Christoph, from Germany, graduates from Mel’s Intermediate class. Christoph was on an Adult English and Surfing Program so also had surf lessons most afternoons. We have enjoyed having Christoph in the school as he is always smiling and so easy-going. His teachers commented on how mature he is for his age and what a respectful and engaging personality he is. His English has also improved steadily and he progressed from Pre-Intermediate to Intermediate during his time at the school.

Kana, from Japan, graduates from Kristy’s Elementary class. Kristy told me how much she’s enjoyed teaching Kana and watching her improve over the last three months. She said that when Kana started she found it difficult to make a sentence but now they were enjoying whole conversations. Good luck, Kana, with your next adventure.

Congratulations and farewell to our seven students graduating from Lexis Byron Bay today!

Miyu

Miyu, from Japan, graduates from Claudia’s Upper Intermediate class. We are very sad to be saying goodbye to her after 34 weeks at Lexis! Miyu is a friendly, respectful, kind person and we will all miss her very much! She started with us in Pre-Intermediate, completed the Cambridge First course, and now graduates Upper Intermediate with an A! Well done for all your achievements Miyu. Enjoy the rest of your time in Byron and we will hopefully see you again one day <3

Tania, from Spain, graduates from Claudia’s Upper Intermediate class. Claudia says it has been fantastic having her in the class and her enthusiasm really contributed to a positive class attitude. She is a motivated student and should be very proud of all the hard work she put in and for graduating with an A grade! Enjoy your break Tania and we’ll see you in September for Cambridge!

Ugo, from France, graduates from Michelle’s Pre-Intermediate class. He was only with us a short 2 weeks but it was a pleasure to have met him! He is a polite, hard working student who always volunteered to answer difficult questions in class. As well as our English classes he also took surf lessons arranged through Lexis, and made quick improvements here as well as with his English!

Rodrigo, from Brazil, graduates from Mel’s Intermediate class. He is an extremely friendly, funny, cheerful student and we will miss seeing his smiling face around campus. He got on well with all of his classmates and made lots of friend during his time at Lexis. As well as making the most of his time in Byron he has also improved his English a great deal in his 14 weeks with us! Wishing you all the best for the future Rodrigo!

She has improved in all areas of her English during her time at Lexis and graduates with an A, with her writing and reading being at Pre-Intermediate level; well done Elisabet! We are glad this isn’t goodbye as she will be returning to us in September!
