DISHWASHER / KITCHENHANDS – ST ELMO

St Elmo is looking for kitchens hands for weekday and weekend nights. See Brendan or Jasper in the kicthen at St Elmo, 22 Fletcher Street, Byron Bay after 1pm.

 

HORSE AND PADDOCK HELP (in exchange for free accommodation and food)

Horse and farm helper required ASAP. Horse rider or trainer preferred. Must love all animals as all of our animals are our pets. Non smoker preferable. Available from NOW to end December. Need to be prepared to commit to at least 4 weeks, preferably longer. I’m asking for approximately 20 hours worth of work per week in exchange for Free Food, Free private accommodation, Free WIFI, $90 cash per week. Possibility for extra paid work only to a maximum of $200 total cash. We are a busy family of mum, dad and 16yr old daughter. Plus 7 horses, 4 chickens, 1 rooster, 2 cats and 3 caged birds. With horses, it is not all cuddles and riding! There are a lot of other jobs that need to be done. Work will include manure pickup, raking and tidying stable yards, cleaning feed buckets, feeding chickens, cleaning chicken house and other yard duties as required. Starting this week I have horses that I will be starting to work on. If I get the right person, we will be taking them via float or truck to other destinations to work them and bring them on. Travel with the horses will often require camping. We camp comfortably and WIFI will be via my mobile phone personal hotspot. Rooster is very loud and wakes up early. (but only if we are home!) I have 2 quiet and nice horses for less experienced riders, 3 that are suitable for someone with some riding education and 2 that are suitable for very experienced to horse training ability. a) Horseriding and horsemanship instructor and can give you some direction if you require
b)equine therapist using the masterton method and SCENAR
c)HUMAN therapist using SCENAR therapy

GROUNDS AND MAINTENANCE MANAGER

We have been operating successfully for over 6 years, and have recently expanded our operations to now include three large holiday houses and one studio apartment, right in the centre of Byron Bay. We estimate the weekly hours to be approximately 30 hours per week – the specific hours and days will be dependent on the nature and time of guest stays.
You will be a hands-on person who is proactive in your approach to house maintenance, who has ideally undertaken this sort of work before. Perhaps someone seeking a move to the beautiful Byron Bay, you will be provided an on-site apartment and all utilities, internet and phone included.
You will report to our General Manager, Jess, on a day to day basis, with some reporting through to the owners from time to time.

CLEANING SUPERVISOR IN BYRON BAY

This position is a hands-on role in supervising the team to ensure the delivery of high quality services to our clients. Reporting directly to the owners of the business you will be a member of a small management team running an independent boutique hotel in the heart of Byron Bay. Your primary responsibility will be as a Revenue Manager working in conjunction with their marketing and reception team.
