Beach Games! 2 November

We are loving the beautiful summer weather here in Byron Bay!!

Last Friday we made the most of the sunshine by heading to one of Byron’s beautiful beaches for some fun in the sun 🙂

Orla took the morning group down and they enjoyed a game of bowls and a bit of volleyball practice.

I then took our afternoon group once they had finished their classes for the week. Everyone was in great spirits and excited for a weekend of wonderful weather ahead!

We had a practice on the beach first while we waited for everyone to arrive, then headed over to the volleyball courts at one of our student’s hostels.

It was my first time playing volleyball and although I managed to get a few shots in, it’s safe to say I’m not a natural! I had lots of fun playing with the students though and they were all really patient and encouraging. I’m already looking forward to playing again!

After a couple of hours I had to return to school, just as more of our students arrived! I left them there to continue playing into the early evening 🙂
