We have organised some amazing activities for you all this September.
Saturday 7th of September
We are kicking off the month with Whale Watching. If you have not already been then this is the time to go! ‘Why’? Because the Humpback whales are making their way back down south with their baby calves. They wont be back again till next year in Autumn. The Humpback whales migrate around 5000km on average, one of the longest migratory journeys of any mammal on Earth.
Saturday 14th of September- Lexis Aussie BBQ BONANZA
We are taking students to an awesome spot by the river just north of Byron Bay. We will be cooking you guys a BBQ lunch while you paddle board along the river, play cricket, football or throw a frizby around. The BBQ will be fancy dress with prizes to be won for the best dressed student. The theme will be ‘Aussie’.. if you need any ideas ask Alisha at reception or Dee down at the travel desk.
First Prize: Full day on the Great Barrier Reef
Second Prize: Happy Coach to Nimbin
21st September & 22nd September -Beach Kangaroo Campout
This is the event you do not want to miss… Its the best event on the calendar all year.. We head down south to an awesome National Park surrounded by kangaroos. Here we paddle board, snorkel, learn to fish and of course hang out with the kangaroos. It is an epic 2 day camping party weekend… tickets sell fast for this one so get in quick….
Sunday 29th of September
Brisbane City & Koala Sanctuary day trip
So if you haven’t been to Brisbane then this is your chance. We are taking students to a beautiful sanctuary, home to numerous native Australian animals. To name a few- Koalas, snakes, dingos, platypus, emus, and many more…
After this we head to the city where we have free time to see the sights and do some shopping … This is going to be an awesome day out with limited spots available so like I said before ‘get in quick’.
