This week we spiced up Coffee Club with hot cross buns to celebrate Easter!
A hot cross bun is a spiced sweet bun made with raisins, currants or chocolate. They are marked with a cross on the top, and traditionally enjoyed on Good Friday. The eating of hot cross buns marks the end of Lent because they are made with dairy products which are forbidden during this period.
Talita, our birthday girl enjoyed her first ever hot cross bun! 🙂
It is safe to say everyone enjoyed the hot cross buns, especially warmed up with butter 🙂
