Yesterday morning (Thursday) we gathered in the kitchen for our Mexican cooking activity! Our plan was to have a meat AND a veggie option – beef tacos and veggie enchiladas. Our main ingredients included beef, red peppers & onions, lettuce, mixed beans, re-fried beans, sour cream, various sauces, lime, cheese, taco shells, tortillas and of course – some corn chips and salsa to snack on as we cooked π
As we were cooking two separate mixes, there were plenty of jobs for everyone to do – prep and chop the vegetables, divide the ingredients for each meal, find the chopping boards, pots, pans and the fun bit – the cooking! π
As the onion tears were starting to get to us, one of the group had a genius idea to help her… sunglasses!!! π

Looking good, chef Max! π
The food was so tasty – it’s not at all surprising that a few friends turned up just as the food was ready to eat…! π
