There’s not many job advertised this week, but that doesn’t mean there’s not jobs out there!
The best thing to do is go round all the bars, restaurants, cafes, hostels and hotels handing out your resume. If you need help writing your resume you can go to GIL any day between 2 and 3pm; in room 8 every day except Mondays when it’s in room 7. Then email to me: firstname.lastname@example.org and I can print 10 free copies every day for you 🙂
Persistence is key, so if you don’t hear back from them after a few days go back in and follow up. If they remember you you’ll be the first person they think to call when a job does become available!
If you are wanting to work somewhere that serves alcohol you will need to complete your RSA. For more information on this and barista courses follow this link: https://lexisbyronbay.com/2017/02/01/rsa-and-barista-courses/
