Today, for our free activity we made pizzas in the student kitchen. As Claire is on holiday this week, Claudia was in charge and she told me that she learned a couple of things about pizzas while she was doing it.
First of all, she was surprised that the Spanish chefs put the cheese on underneath the toppings whereas the typical way in Australia is for the cheese to go on last.
Secondly, she was introduced to how easy it is to cut pizzas with scissors rather than a knife. A trick we’ll all be trying at home from now on.
All the pizzas looked and tasted delicious but, in the end, the Spanish pizza was declared the best.
