About the role: We are searching for an experienced baker or pastry chef who can bring further creativity to our team. Skills and experience: At least 2-3 years experience with sourdoughs, hand molding and shaping breads • Strong knowledge of deck ovens and baking • Controlling mixing processes of sourdough and yeast dough Folding and rolling pastry dough on the shetter • Experienced in croissant • Sound knowledge in weighing ingredients for different type of bread and pastry • Strong work ethic • The ability to work in a fast paced environment • Strong leadership skills.

Job tasks and responsibilities: – Develop inspiring menus from the best of what south east Asia has to offer. – Build and recruit a new team from the ground up; develop a positive working environment. – Source fresh, seasonal produce. – Buying, costing and working with suppliers. – Lead and manage kitchen staff while working within KPI’s. – Manage food quality, portion control and presentation. Skills and experience: – Proven experience, knowledge and skill in south east Asian cuisine. – Proven experience managing a fast-paced kitchen successfully. – Attention to detail and quality control. – Understanding of costing and profits.
