The best thing to do is go round all the bars, restaurants, cafes, hostels and hotels handing out your resume. If you need help writing your resume you can go to GIL any day between 2 and 3pm; in room 8 every day except Mondays when it’s in room 7. Then email to me: and I can print 10 free copies every day for you 🙂

One of our new students got 3 job offers from doing this last week, so it’s definitely possible to find work!

Persistence is key, so if you don’t hear back from them after a few days go back in and follow up. If they remember you you’ll be the first person they think to call when a job does become available!

Fast paced restaurant in great location close to beach seeks additional Cooks to join our friendly team. You must have a minimum of 2 years commercial restaurant experience and have worked during busy service shifts. You will have strong communication skills, be fit, healthy and capable of working with lots of dockets at once. You will have some experience of grilling, frying and prep work. You must be willing to work evenings and day shifts plus weekends / public holidays. Ability to communicate verbally and written English important.




Looking for a number of female masseuses for busy massage shop located in beautiful Byron Bay. Shop is located in the busy tourist strip. Earnings dependent on your availability as the shop is open 7 days a week at least 10 hours per day. Experience preferred but not essential as full training can be provided. Would suit working holiday, students, PR and TR, must be hard-working and pleasant if you are looking to save money, cheap accommodation can also be offered.
Expect to earn minimum $200+ per day depending on the hours you can be available.
