Welcome to our six new students joining us at Lexis Byron Bay this week!
Kyoung, from Korea, will go by his English nickname Song whilst here. He enjoys exercising and is looking forward to swimming and surfing in Byron! He studied Physical Education at University and in the future would like to become a teacher. He wants to improve his English so he can travel many places and maybe one day live in Australia!
Quentin is from the French speaking part of Switzerland. His passions include traveling and meeting new people, which he plans to do after his 6 weeks of study with us! He also enjoys extreme sports, including Munji jumping, skydiving and Parkour. He chose to leave his life in Switzerland behind so he can be on this amazing adventure experiencing new things!
Meret is from the German speaking part of Switzerland. Her hobbies include gymnastics which she has been doing for 12 years, and also snowboarding in the winter. She finished school last year and has been working in a bakery and also as a snowboard and ski instructor. She chose Byron Bay for her English studies after recommendations from friends and wanting to be in small town near the beach!
Jiyeon, nickname Lizzy, is from Korea. She loves traveling and last year went to Europe for 7 weeks, but found it hard because she doesn’t speak much English; that is why she is now here with us at Lexis! After her studies she will travel Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia. She is looking forward to meeting people from all over the world and using her new language!
Rino is from Japan. She enjoys sports and is excited to try surfing and yoga whilst in Byron! She wants to improve her English so in the future she can find a job where she needs to use the language. She chose Byron for her studies because of the beautiful beaches and nature!
Dunja is from the German speaking part of Switzerland. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and friends. She started working for the supermarket company SPAR when she left school and has now worked within many of their departments. She wants to improve her English grammar so will study with us for the next 4 weeks before travelling to Cairns!
