Welcome to our eight new starters joining us at Lexis Byron Bay today!
Luca is from Switzerland, the German part, near Zurich. He has been doing track and field since he was 10 and specialises in the the long sprint and middle distances . He also really enjoys painting and drawing. He chose to study in Byron Bay so he can also learn surfing whilst improving his English!
Kanae is from Tokyo, Japan. She is very proud to be working as a nurse helping people. Her many hobbies include dancing, singing, yoga and walking. She is really looking forward to doing more yoga while she is in Byron, which is great as we have free classes for our students every Monday!
Carmen, from Switzerland, loves animals and works as a vets assistant. She loves going to the gym and for runs in the forest. She hasn’t studied English for 7 years so is looking forward to studying and improving her speaking!
Marta, from Spain, enjoys travelling and meeting people from other cultures. She has completed a degree in Tourism and worked on the front desk of a hotel in Zaragoza. She wants to improve her English for her professional future and is looking forward to meeting people from all over the world!
Noemi, from Switzerland, loves to draw and cook spicy food. She has just finished High School of Arts and next year will start Illustration School. She chose Australia for her English studies as it has beautiful weather, lots of nature and friendly people. After her studies she would like to travel, which her improved English will help her with!
Alex (Alejandro) is from Spain. He loves all sports, particularly the physics behind it. He studied Marketing and now needs to improve his English for his new job. When he returns to Spain he will complete the first level exam to show he has a high level of English, and that’s what Lexis is going to help him achieve!
Lucia, from Argentina, is a Physical Education teacher and also a lifeguard. She loves all sports and also to travel. She chose to study in Byron bay because she loves this country and feels the best way to learn a language is to become part of the community. In the future she would like to travel around the world, meeting new people and working along the way!
Ricardo is from Chile. He loves to surf and this is why he chose Byron Bay; he’ll be able to get lots of practice in whilst also improving his English! He is an engineer in Prevention of Risk, and has worked for a big company in Chile for almost 12 years. He wants to improve his English so he can complete the IELTs exam and find a new job within his profession.
