Welcome to the four new starters at Lexis Byron Bay this week!
Hinako is from Japan and is one of five in her family. She lives with her mother, father, two sisters and lots of pet dogs! She believes it is important to learn English and came to Australia to study because her sister said the country is so good. In the future, she looks forward to starting her own family.
Chae is from Korea and is one of four in her family, with her parents and her older sister, plus their puppy. She works as a Swimming Instructor in Korea and likes to exercise. She also enjoys playing the piano. She likes the animals, fresh air and sea here, and has always dreamed of visiting Australia, which is why she came to study English in Byron Bay. After studying for four weeks at Lexis she hopes to find a job to work and live here for her Working Holiday.
Leticia is from Brazil and is one of five in her family, with her parents and two sisters. Her father and one of her sisters is also studying in Australia, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. She likes art, painting, making clothes, being in nature, reading books, listening to music and going to festivals. She is studying English because it is so useful for travel and work. She chose to study in Australia because it is a pretty country with beautiful nature and a great lifestyle. She will stay in Australia for some time to improve her English and hopes to do a course in yoga, art, photography or travel before returning to Brazil to study Psychology.
Maria is from Spain and is one of five in her family, with her parents, brother and sister. She loves living a healthy life, playing sports and the ocean. She likes to go scuba diving, practice martial arts and generally participating in other sports. She works as an Economist in a large multinational company in Spain. She does not have any set plans for the future, but is just looking forward to doing the things that she enjoys. She chose to study English in Byron Bay for the great lifestyle. She has always dreamed of visiting the Great Barrier Reef, so will visit this icon while in Australia.
