This week we have two new students joining us at Lexis Byron Bay. Welcome to Emilio and Haru!
Emilio & Haruna
Emilio is from Spain and is one of four in his family. He has a brother who is five years older and also lives in Australia. Emilio enjoys playing basketball, music and playing the guitar. He is studying at university to become a Mining Engineer and believes that being able to speak English will improve his chances of finding work in Spain. He chose to come to Australia to study English because he likes to travel and wanted to immerse himself in an English-speaking culture.
Haru is from Japan and is one of five in her family, with one older and one younger brother. She enjoys playing piano, walking, picking edible plants with her mother in the Spring, and playing with her dog Momo. She has worked as a waitress in a hotel, on a rice and vegetable farm, an in a Japanese sweet factory. She hopes to improve her English and find work in Australia.
