Yesterday afternoon three brave students, Annie from Switzerland and Massimo and Edoardo from Italy, went on a one-hour  trial surf lesson with Let’s go Surfing.

Even though the temperature outside was much colder than normal, they donned their wet-suits and headed out to Belongil Beach to learn the basics. As you can see from the photos below, they all managed to stand up almost immediately. They also told me that they weren’t cold at all and that the water was warmer than the air outside and that all of them are planning to get out there again and improve their techniques as soon as possible.
