A few weeks ago we were challenged to a soccer match by the SAE College in Byron Bay. Facing a school with 200+ students, we were unsure of pulling a team together. But the Lexis Family has united and pulled together a team of 15 students!
Having never played together before, the game started a bit rough. But after a few minutes, the Lexis team found their flow and gave the SAE team the challenge they didn’t know they were looking for!
It was a very close first half, with the scores tied 1-1 at half time. The competition heated up in the second half, with the teams going goal for goal until SAE pulled away and eventually won the match 6-4.
Every player on the team played really well and, though we didn’t win this time, will surely win that cup back at the next challenge!
Special thanks to http://www.letsgosurfing.com.au for providing our uniforms, and to all the players and staff at SAE College Byron Bay who came out to the match today!
