Today we welcome six new starters to Lexis Byron Bay – Ai, Laura, Yann, Yumiko, Toni and Rayan.

Ai Nishioka is from Japan and her hobbies are listening to music, reading lots of books, watching movies and snowboarding. Now she’s in Australia she wants to try surfing, wakeboarding and other watersports. In the future she wants to study Business English and work in a hotel, so it’s important for her to improve her English.

Laura Soravia is from Germany and describes herself as friendly, communicative and funny. She really enjoys dancing and going out with her friends. She has just finished her school exams and after her time in Australia she wants to study International Social Work or Psychology. She chose to study English in Australia because here she can study, travel and work.

Yann Wellhauser from Switzerland has transferred from Lexis Noosa and now he will study at Lexis Byron Bay for 4 weeks. After his studies he will spend some time travelling in Australia and New Zealand.

Yumiko Konishi from Japan has come to Byron Bay because she has a friend who also studied here, so she heard it is a great place to improve her English, enjoy the Byron lifestyle and learn about Australian culture. She plans to study here for 2 weeks.

Toni Josef Burch is also from Switzerland and although he only arrived on Saturday, he has already had a busy weekend exploring Byron Bay with his host family. He even experienced his first Aussie BBQ!

Rayan Seri from Switzerland and he has four little brothers who will miss him while he’s away! His hobbies include music, sport, mangas and films and he also enjoys football. After his adventure in Australia he plans to study Law at university. First, he will spend 6 months in Australia improving his English and travelling.
