Graduation! 16 October

We have 9 students leaving us this week! Tommy, Junya, CD, Silvia, Tomaso, Asa, Robin, Dennis and Aurore

Junya Shiragami and CD (Eundeok Yoo) left yesterday, so they were not at graduation today. Goodbye and good luck, guys!

Tommy (Hodaka Shigetomi) from Japan has been at Lexis for 17 weeks in the Pre-Intermediate class. His teacher Kathleen says Tommy has progressed a lot and these days he talks a lot more, always smiles and tells lots of great jokes. Tommy said he has had some good times here and made a lot of good friends. Now he will stay in Byron to work in the Japanese restaurant, so we’ll see you around Tommy!

Dennis and Robin

Robin Frehner and Dennis Gehrig from Switzerland have been at Lexis for just 4 weeks, doing the English In Action Surfing course and in IELTS. Their teacher Anji described them as “English Superstars” as they are predicted IELTS Level 7. Robin and Dennis said they are sad to leave but have had a really good time in Byron Bay and they would like to come back one day.

Asa Hojvall from Sweden has been at Lexis for 4 weeks in the Upper Intermediate class. Her teacher Jodie says she has great energy, always participates and her speaking is fantastic. Asa said she has had a wonderful time and said thank you to all the staff for their help and guidance. She will stay in Byron Bay for 3 months – so see you around, Asa!

Tomaso Mager from Italy has been at Lexis for 4 weeks in the IELTS class. His teacher Anji said he is really cool, really laid back and a real dude! Anji said she was shocked by how good Tomaso’s English is! Tomaso told us he has enjoyed his stay here, and has definitely improved his English and Ping-Pong skills! We will miss your smile and sense of humour Tomaso 🙂

Silvia Elisabeth Bissig has been at Lexis for 6 weeks in the Intermediate class. Her teacher Claudia said she is a beautiful student, very funny and intelligent and always keen for class. Silvia told me she has met a lot of great people here and she hopes to see them again in Switzerland.

Aurore Chantriaux from France has been at Lexis for 12 weeks and leaves with grade A in Upper Intermediate. Her teacher Anji said she is an excellent student with a sweet nature and strong opinions. Aurore thanked her teachers very much – Anji, Claudia and Julia – for all their support. We will miss you a lot Aurore!

Goodbye and good luck everyone!
