DK, Thiago, Hong, Livia and Tommy cover the lamingtons in chocolate and coconut

Today Claudia gave Lexis students an opportunity to make and taste some traditional Aussie food. On the menu were:

  • Lamingtons
  • Avocado and Vegemite Sandwiches
  • Tim Tam Slams

The lamingtons, of course, were very popular; filled with strawberry jam and covered in chocolate and coconut, but I couldn’t find anyone who enjoyed the vegemite. Korean student June tried to pretend he could eat it by spreading the sandwich with the lamington coating but nobody was fooled.
