Live in Nanny

This is a live in nanny position for 4 hours of work a day in exchange for food and accommodation.
We are a young family of four who love Byron Bay and wish to make the opportunity for others to enjoy this beautiful area as well. We provide a bicycle, snorkelling gear, internet, and body boards if you’re interested in getting into the surf. You will also be welcome to enjoy trips out we make to visit different attractions in the area. Our place in Suffolk Park is only 2 minutes / two blocks walk to the beach, an easy 10-15 minute bike ride to town.
Duties include:

* housekeeping
* cooking.
We require someone with reasonably good English. This job is suitable for people here to enjoy the natural beauty of Byron. You will need to be quiet at night here, and agree not use any perfume. Non-smoker only.

We’re looking for an outgoing, fast and organized individual to join our food team. Koobideh is a market stall & catering company selling tasty Persian food and drinks in the Northern Rivers area of New South Wales. We do all kinds of events – community markets, music festivals, fairs and shows, personal catering etc. We believe in eating well and making time to do so. We use traditional recipes and source our fresh ingredients from organic and local suppliers. We care for the environment and run our business as sustainably as possible. Duties and responsibilities:
• Take orders and manage flow of production. Orders can range from 100-2000/per day.
• Be responsible for and manage cash. Ensure balanced cash out at end of day.
• Offer customer service with a smile.
• Answer customer’s questions comfortably.
• Assist with load in and load out of supplies on site.
• Assist with other tasks at event as required.
• Have fun and learn!
We’re looking for someone who…
• Can offer exceptional customer service.
• Can work well under pressure and keep smiling after long hours.
• Is able to work quickly but effectively; making sure that each order is taken correctly.
• Experience working with a cash register.
• Possesses strong attention to detail.

• Can multi-task and handle several tasks at once.
• Experience in the food and/or event industry in a similar role.
• Is passionate about Iranian food. If you don’t know anything about Iranian food, that’s okay. So long as you’re passionate about learning. That’s key!
• Must have own transportation. Our events are all over the Northern Rivers area and work hours fluctuate depending on the event.
