Backpackers World Travel are looking for outgoing, vibrant, well-travelled sales staff to join our experienced and passionate team in Byron Bay. With stores Australia-wide and a growing global network we’re there for our customers every step of the way.
We plan trips for people from all over the world and work closely with many English Language Schools and Universities.
Ideal candidates will have travelled extensively throughout Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia. You must be able to commit to a minimum of 6-12 months and have a strong command of the English language (both written and oral).
Backpackers World Travel uses both the Website Travel and Galileo booking systems, so any experience in these areas is welcome.
Essential requirements are outstanding communication skills, strong sales experience, proven customer service ability, plenty of energy, a can-do attitude flexibility and a passion for travel. A second language would be ideal. Our stores are lively places full of international travellers and students, with the music pumping and lots of laughter. To be successful you need to be confident, target driven, a little bit cheeky and a fantastic multi-tasker.
