P.A. / Administration Manager

A P.A. / Administration Manager is needed at the Colin Heaney Art Head Office. Home to the eponymous luxury resort wear brand, and festival fashion brand, Liberated Heart, the office is an exciting hub located in Byron Bay. We need a grounded, meticulous, and organised person.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for:
– Support to Brand Managers and Directors for administration tasks
– Daily accounts payable and receivable, creating wholesale invoices, accounts data entry (reporting to Accounts Manager)
– Inventory management in the inventory management programs and e-commerce platforms
– Liaise between brand managers, production manager and directors.
– Office filing and organisation, data entry.
– Working with warehouse staff when support is required
– Must be proficient in Excel, Word.
– Experience in e-commerce platforms, Illustrator or basic design package and Xero preferred.
– Ability to keep a calm demeanour and enjoyment in supporting creative
– Must be well presented with excellent communication skills.
– Some retail sales experience a plus.

Customer Service / Dispatch Manager

With support from the Brand Manager and Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
– Pick, pack and dispatch of all orders and managing casual staff
– Liaising with customers by phone and email on all enquiries
– Processing all returns and exchanges
– Inventory, stocktake and shipment arrival management
– Keeping the warehouse well-presented and in order with a high standard for detail.

You will need to have at least 12 months experience in customer service and have a high level of computer literacy. Experience in inventory management also preferred.
You will enjoy having autonomy in your role, and be dedicated to your responsibilities.
Salary $35,000 plus (incl Super). Position will start in Byron Bay Head Office on Monday 2nd February.

Working 20+ hours per week, we need a glassie with a great work ethic, that is physically fit and that feels the need…the need for speed! You must have a combination of world-class customer service and the ability to collect & wash glasses quickly and efficiently when the bar is packed and our customers are having the night of their lives!

DJ (Disc Jockey)

Ideally you will have previous experience working in other late-night & high-energy venues, extensive music knowledge of everything from classic party-anthems to the latest Top 40 commercial hits, and the ability to get the party started & keep it going all night long! Think of it as the ultimate house-party and you are responsible for ensuring that everyone is up & dancing and having the night of their life!

We use a mix of Nightlife’s DJ Pro software music and Pioneer CDJ-2000 Nexus, with a Pioneer DJM-900 Nexus mixer, depending on the night and event. All equipment will be provided. Previous experience using the above equipment will be highly regarded.

Promotional Team

You will be responsible for working day & night promo shifts totalling approximately 20+hrs per week. During the day you will be walking the streets and engaging visitors & locals about Woody’s (nightly events, general info, directions, etc.). For night promo, you will be promoting Woody’s at nightly BBQs at various hostels in town and then be expected to accompany these groups back to Woody’s & continue to party. You must be bubbly, outgoing & want to party…a lot!

Bayleaf Byron Bay Chef Need

We need a chef/cook who is willing to support our head chef in every way, from menu/special design and implementation, ordering, kitchen management, creative thinking, the ability to deliver high quality consistently and handle high volume during peak periods in a relaxed and calm manner.

Live out babysitter required for 5 days per week x 6 hours p/day

Hi we require an experienced babysitter for the next two weeks (starting Monday 12th Jan) for 6 hours per day, 5 days per week. The hours each day and the days per week may change from time to time. There is potential for this role to continue for longer than 2 weeks if it works out well. This is to help with our 3 kids (aged 3, 9 and 11 years old) swimming in our pool, playing and light household chores like vacuuming. We are in Suffolk Park but can pick you up if you need transport, although if you have a bike you could ride from central Byron. We would pay $200 cash each week for the 5 days work, including lunch while at our home. It would be ideal if you speak fluent English, and have experience with kids, especially a 3 year old! We are a vegan family, so the lunch provided would be vegan. We would like to interview Sunday 11th in the afternoon or Monday morning either at our house or in town.
