As usual we have a great free activity programme planned for our students in January.

All the regular favourites are there; yoga, coffee lounge, job club, movie screenings and beach games. Plus we have some unmissable guest activity leaders this month.

Firstly, on 13 January, Pro Skateboarder Flavio returns to give both beginners and improvers instruction, challenges and encouragement. Flavio teaches at schools all over Byron and his classes are always really popular. So don’t miss out on this one.

Another regular feature of our monthly activity programme is Joshee and his slackline. He’ll be returning on the 21st to test your skills of balance and concentration.

Our final special guest this month is Phil from Starrynight Planetarium who will be bring his telescope and his astronomy knowledge to show students the sky at night. If you are from the nothern hemisphere you will see that the sky looks very different from “down under”. Always popular, this evening event is on Wednesday 28 January.

PLUS. We will also be celebrating Australia Day in style with Australian Movies, Lamington Making and Beer Tasting. Look out for more details, nearer the day.
