One of the most famous and beautiful parts of Byron bay is also the most easterly point of Australia. The iconic Byron bay lighthouse is situated on cliff just near this point and has become a famous coastal landmark. From this point one can look out over Byron bay shire and across to the hinterland as well as out to the Pacific Ocean.
On Wednesday a group of Lexis students headed to the lighthouse to participate in a photo scavenger hunt!
In teams of two, the students completed various challenges as they made their way down from the lighthouse, seeing new places and taking photos of various landmarks, people and views.
They approached and spoke to locals and tourists, getting photo evidence of all their interactions.
And also completed physical challenges and visited various landmarks between from the lighthouse, to Wategos beach and the famous surf spot, The Pass.
The first team to make it back to Lexis won a six pack of boutique Aussie beer along with a pack of Tim-Tams! The winners were Miwa and Rico.
Well done to all the participants!
