Stefan at the Lighthouse – Byron’s most famous landmark
On Wednesday after class a group of students participated in an adventure photo race which took them racing down from the iconic Byron bay lighthouse all the way back to the Lexis school grounds- completing tasks and taking photos at certain landmarks as they went.
Some of the tasks included taking pictures of themselves at different locations between the lighthouse and the school,
Leo at the Lookout
Or approaching strangers and finding out if they were tourists or locals, then getting photos with them
Aya chatting with some locals
and also doing exercises at certain points along the way!
So In and Miwa doing pull ups at Wategos
There were extra points if teams got a photo with a good looking surfer – and both teams managed to find this no problem!
Leo and Stefan were fierce competition to be up against. Aya, Miwa and So In completed all the tasks really well, but the boys raced the whole way and were the winners of the competition in the end! They celebrated their win with a six pack of beer in the sun.
Good work teams, it was loads of fun and a great way to discover even more places and secret spots around beautiful Byron.
