On this beautiful sunny afternoon a group of us sat down in the Lexis courtyard and enjoyed chai lattes, cappuccinos and tim-tams. It was a great opportunity to get to know each other a little more and to share stories, ideas and questions about life in Australia and life in Byron bay.

Living in another country brings such a variety of new experiences, especially when you don’t speak the language and there can be challenges and misunderstandings. It is always great to connect with each other and laugh and chat about some of these things. We talked about travel, jet lag, Australian animals and insects, surfing and some of the differences and similarities between cultures and countries.

A great way to spend the afternoon!
