Today we waved goodbye to some very memorable students! Greg and Ulysse are both 16 years old and from France, and have been studying English and surfing here in Byron Bay for five weeks! Their surfing, and their English, have both really improved.
Megumi from Japan has only been here for a week, but her English improved dramatically! She will be going back home to Japan.
Maru from Taiwan had written a beautiful speech, and also gave Paul two lovely Taiwanese fridge magnets as a parting gift as it is Taiwan’s version of Father’s Day – Baba Day! She is off travelling around Australia.
Martina from Italy and Ena from Korea both left Claudia’s class today – Ena is also off travelling, and Martina is moving back to Melbourne to work and study.
And last but definitely not least, Edoardo from Italy and Marinara from Brazil also said farewell – Edoardo will be in Byron for ten days before returning to high school in Italy, and Mari is off to New Zealand to do her working holiday visa!
Good luck guys, we will miss you!
