Today we had a Swedish cooking workshop in the student lounge!I followed the Jamie Oliver recipe to make delicious (hopefully!) herb-packed meatballs – unfortunately store bought – in a creamy white sauce, with plenty of lemon and chives and a big dollop of blackcurrant jam on the side. It wasn’t quite as authentic as the Swedish national obsession with lingon berry jam, but it seems that Woollies don’t cater to the Swedes among us – no lingon berry to be found!! I’ll have to stock up at Ikea.
