The weekend is fast approaching. Sometimes I feel like it’s constantly the weekend! What a great feeling. Here’s whats on in Byron Bay this weekend!
Frothing on Fridays is at the Ginger Pig once once again this Friday night – and this week our very own Laura and Susanna will be doing the promotions for it – look out for them! $5 Coopers, $10 cocktails and awesome music!
Local band Wandering Eyes are playing at the Beachy on Friday night from 9pm – these guys have been tearing up Byron Bay recently – its a free gig so don’t miss it!
The Soulshakers are playing at the Rails, Greenthief, The Black Lullaby, Hammers and Taya Mills at the Northern and Matthew Armitage at Frankie Browns from 7pm.
Lots of live music and DJs on Saturday;
– Pandemonium DJs at the Beachy,
– Ball Park Music, Papa vs Pretty and Holy Holy at the Northern,
– Cheynne Murphy Band at the Rails,
– Shakshuka & The Imprints at Kulchajam,

Also on Saturday night, the Byron Theatre are showing the amazing surf movie Spirit of Akasha – tickets are $28. This is an incredible film, based on the classic Morning of the Earth and featuring Stephanie Gilmore, John John Florence, Nat Young, Mick Fanning and Kelly Slater.
And on Sunday – Sunday session music from 4.30pm at the Beachy from the Feramones – followed by mash up mix tape maestros Yacht Club DJs from 8pm! Tickets are around the $20 mark for Yacht Club DJs, but entry is free for Feramones.
Also for Sunday sessions – Kyle Lionheart at the Northern, Blind Willie Wagtail at the Rails and the brilliant live interactive jam session that is Byron Vibes at the Ginger Pig!
