New Year’s Eve is fast approaching, and as always there is a lot going on in Byron Bay. If you want to go to a ticketed event, best to get in early and get your tickets so that you don’t end up sharing a bottle of whiskey with a homeless man on a bench!
The guys at the Byron Community Centre are hosting ‘Soul Street’ – from 2pm until 9pm on Jonson Street in Byron Bay – with live music, market stalls, circus performers, face painting, fire twirling, drumming and food… We will be doing a school excursion from 2pm to see whats going on!
Falls Festival is running from December 31st until January 2nd at the North Byron Parklands – tickets are sold out, but maybe you can try pretending to be a famous rock star and sneak in
If you weren’t lucky enough to get tickets for Falls – there are still plenty of awesome parties going on in and around Byron Bay.

A little further afield: the Beyond Byron funk – soul – house – dance party is being held at the Coorabell Hall on Coolamon Scenic Drive… Thai food, BYO alcohol and tickets are $35!
Also the Brunswick Heads record fair is at the Memorial Hall on Fingal Street from 31st December until the 4th January, from 10am until 6pm every day – if you feel the need to stock up on some vinyl for your own party!
