Byron Bay Brewery

The students of Lexis Byron Bay love to enjoy an afternoon beverage at the Byron Bay Brewery.

Our wounded heroes! Leo's looking pretty happy in spite of his recent shoulder accident. And little did we know that by next week Johan would be in a sling too!

Too cool for school: Loic 'King of the Buddha Bar' Rey and Michelle 'Queen of the Road' Miller!

United colours of Lexis!

Dhinawan Dreaming

Last week the students at Lexis Byron Bay were entertained and educated at a fantasrtic performance by Australian Indigenous artist, Dhinawan. We learnt about Indigenous Australian culture and history. Dhinawan showed us how to play the didjeridoo, told stories and taught us a thing or two about dancing! It was a wonderful experience for all our students and we hope to do it again soon.

Dhinawan taught us the history of the didgeridoo - known as the Yirtakki in Arnhem Land.

Brazilian Joao shows us how its done!

The girls dance a traditional gathering dance to the sounds of the didj.
